I appreciate the personal thanks and accept them with great gratitude, but don't need them because I only need to know the forum as a whole is helping people survive, coupe and grow...

Hi Shannon. I am a new member also an old CDDF member who lost many friends when that site left the net. I was off the net for a couple of years wandering in the wilderness. This site allows the our community to contact each other, to share ideas, to learn and grow. I am glad this site is here. It makes a difference in my life and in the lives of many of our sisters. Hi, Shannon, and welcome back to your Forum, hon!
Oh, the forum has definitely been a help to Virginia and myself, as we met through the forum after an online friend, Caith, encouraged me to join . . . and I only joined to learn more about CD's as I had never heard of it before!
Virginia and I have been greatly blessed, finally meeting our soul mates, and life is wonderful. We have also been extremely fortunate to have met many members in real life, either in person or via phone calls, and we look forward to meeting other members in our travels, all of whom have become great friends. Yes, we were able to meet Caith in person, and she has a special place in our hearts, as does everyone we have met.
While Virginia and myself don't need 'support' ourselves, we have chosen to stay with the forum to pass on all the love, support, and friendship to others that has been granted to us. We are giving back to the forum what has been given to us, and being asked by Sharon to become Site Admin is another way I am able to help the forum and all its members.
We thank Sharon and yourself for starting this wonderful forum. The forum would not be what it is today without team work . . . from the members who just come and read, the members who post, whether they are seeking support or offering support, the members who have taken on additional volunteer duties by becoming Moderators (the "ModSquad"), Software and/or Site Administrators, and all the way up to Shannon and Sharon for keeping the forum on the web. We have the best members of any forum out there, and that's what helps to keep the members here, and what attracts new members, too.
