Spending time

Post by CassandraB »

I have been spending time with my wife Kelly Ann since since the pregnany has come up,due Oct 28th of this year is the due date and I have been there for even with her at her doctors's visits. She told me I am going to be a great father.I have been helping her out a lot, doctor told her to take it easy.I did surprise her too on Monday,I found a shirt saying a proud father and I will be wearing it when our child is born.I recently asked my father whom has been a great positive role model in my life for the latest advice which he said this: You are doing just great becoming a father and keep it up.No names have not been picked out yet until we find out the gender of the baby later on

Well Cassandra, congrats to you and your wife. Like Virginia said, this will be life altering. No more just pick up and go. But I'm sure you both will make just great parents.
Hugs,

Congratulations.Kids are a pain in the backside and a lot of heartbreak but they are worth it and far more. Having them has been a wonderful experience.

I understand kids can be a pain sometimes and I have been told this.Luckily I have been getting more advice from my male co workers too, most of them are fathers and have been telling me it will change my life.I love kids and have nieces and nephews I love too.

Cassanda, welcome to the world of fatherhood. My biggest regret in raiseing 10 kids is that I couldn't spend more time with them and their activities. Although I think my kids know that I tried to do everything I could with them they also realize that I had to put food on the table.

This last weekend I was hit with it again as my youngest son brought his family home and I got to watch his youngest son (6) in two wrestling tournments. I look back and wonder if I could have aranged my work a little different to have been able to take in more of my kid's sports\ and other activities.

Maybe the reason for grandkids is to try to make up for lost time. Even though the grandkids tend to get spread out, they seem to really appreciate it when the grandparents spend time with them.

P.S. The grandson got second in one tourney and first in the other. His record for the year is 17 - 3. (Grand parent braging rights)
