Nice to hear from a SO on this. I went out today to a local community fair for a parade and breakfast she was at work but I sent her pic's (will post soon) and told her all about it - she still doesn't want to participate but on the other hand we like to shop together and she bought me a new outfit that I wore today, @@9@@ so nice! Things are going much better and it feels so good to have her in on it. I got a new wig and she tried it on and expressed a preference --- afar cry from sour faces and Halloween remarks. Thanks again, SO's opinions mean a lot Huggs, Debra

That is so nice to hear, Debra.

I am lucky in that respect.

I gave up on relationships. Decided I was tired of living a lie, broke things off with my SO. Decided that living alone was best.

But, she, my SO, would not give up and I felt that it was unfair to both of us to continue a relationship with me hiding and her eventually suspicious.

I explained and at the end of that, I said to her that if she found it unacceptable that it just would not work and it should just end between us.

It turns out that she has no problem with me and has bought me quite a few things including makeup and a hand bag. She has been with me dressed and, as odd as this may seem, I have more of a problem with it than she does.

In time I will get used to it.

I am so happy that you and your wife are finding some even footing. It is so much nicer when we can share and have support.

Hugs,

Andrea
