My wife and daughter were away for a few days and we all know what happens...you have a long to do list but you get nothing done except endulging your CDing... well this time I actually did one of my to do items.
To avoid having the neighbors see me I took a change of clothing, biking outfit and jeans and top. I spent the morning biking, I wore tan tights (to hide leg hair) and sports shorts and bike jersey. My natural hair is getting long so I wore that under my bike helmet. Biking was enjoyable and I always seem to blend in well. At one point, while on the bike path, I came up to a road block. There were two older, rough and tough looking construction workers there. I was not sure I wanted to continue biking further away so I turned around and started heading back. The construction worker yells at me, 'mam, mam, it is okay we will open the gate to let you go through...' I thought it would be good opportunity to interact but I decided to pass.
Back at my parking spot there is a change room aka porta-potty. Only problem, there was a group of ladies and men hanging around...they must have been waiting for someone (seemed like an organized biking group)...they just would not leave! So I changed in my car for the most part. When they were gone, I finished up in there. I wore my low crop top which ends just over my forms and tight jeans and put on my long brown wig.
I then was not sure where to go... I didn't feel like anything too exhausting, but I was near Sears, the casino and a reno depot. I have always had difficulty speaking...I just freeze and clam up. Today, was different, I actually felt like chatting. My first stop was the reno-depot (it is like home depot). I parked, walked around and I got several people staring/reading me... arugh, oh well I held my head up high and went about my business. I was looking for some tape... the hvac metal type...and I found it (actually great price, I'll have to go back there for more). When I got to the cash, the girl serving me was friendly (great looking too) and she asked me how I was doing. I tried my best voice and I said 'I'm doing fine, thank you', She smiled and it was a more enjoyable interaction than I usually get in guy mode... so that lifted my spirits.
The next stop, was the casino for a quick tour and drop of a quarter in the slot machines (big fish gamber I am). I was watched by the security guard, but got pleasant smiles from most people and some looks though. I'm not sure I was read exactly or my style is a little out there... but anyhow the casino is a good testing ground for me.
Next was Sears, I didn't plan to buy anything, but in the intimates section there was a sale...60% off already marked down price on some itmes. I found a nice bra in my size and it cost me a grand total of $5. With my top, the colored straps show just a little on my shoulders sometimes....kind of sexy. But, back to the story, at the cash, the older woman was very helpful and friendly. While waiting for her, I noticed the makeup girl looking at me with a smile on her face. I looked at her and she turned away, but I smiled at her and she turned back and smiled too...that was nice, she read me, but was just curious I think. All the customers seemed not to notice anything different about me...just another female shopper.
Next, I went to an adult fun store. They have some bustiers there and the store is located next to a strip club so sometimes the girls visit and I was going to mingle with them as a social test. There were none today, but I decided to try on a corset. The change rooms were all locked, so I had to ask for assistance. I used my female voice and all was fine! The girl serving me even offered to remove the die pack and tags... too bad though, the corset medium) was too small so after many minutes trying to get it on, I had to dress again and look for a larger one. I found one large size (I'm 10-12) so maybe the sized are off, but it was perfect fit....and boy did it suck in my waist and really really gave my body a great figure. Only thing was, the cups were not a full coverage so the tops of my forms were showing. I guess I could stuff them with something, but I don't think it would work out well...besides I know there are ones with full cups except they were out of stock. So I left without buying anything...on the way out the girl asked me how it went and I answered her 'good, but not exactly what I wanted' and she said, 'no problem, have a nice day'.
To go home I changed in the car again and cleaned up the makeup. It still had my false nails on, but good enough to go home. It was a great day and feel refreshed (had not go out for months) and now I have a new found confidence for my voice.
Had a fun outing and actually spoke to people

You go girl, nice to get out and feel more confident.
Working on my voice by singing in the car, Shania Twain. She has a great voice and not too hard to mimic. I figure if I can get my voice even close to her's I will be good.
Glad you had such a good time out and about. Love those Sears clearance sales!! Staff always treats me fine there even in drab.

Congratulations!
See that was not so bad. I used to worry about being read, but I too discovered that no one seems to take notice. So I now go just about anywhere one goes when out and about. I even shopped at a Victoria Secret store once. I was on cloud nine, walking thru the Mall holding a PINK VS shopping bag.
