I'm unsure of myself. I've been cross-dressing since I was around 14.

Reverently my Therapist said once I learned why I do it I would stop.
I think the reason is that I want to be closer my mother. But that may not be the reason because I’m still cross-dressing.

When I was in maybe, my twenties or thirties I saw a Diane Arbus photograph of a cross-dresser. I found the photograph very stimulating and thought it meant I was gay. I didn’t cross dress for a long time after that. But I was not n am n or gay. It was the woman’s clothing that aroused me not the person in them. I was not. I was turned on by the clothing, not the person wearing them. When I finally realized this it lifted a great burden from me.

For many yeas I did not cross dress much if at all.
But after My mother due dib 2004. I started doing it with a vengeance
But then I stopped and threw away all my luscious under garments.

I finally decided to be more open and accepting of my cross-dressing. It made life easier.
I am a very religious person and I know Jesus doesn’t like me doing this, but I also know that he won’t reject me if I do it. This has given m much peace.
Sometimes my religious faith helps me resist cross-dressing, but sometimes I give in and do it. I am still conflicted over this issue.

I have a cousin a female who sometimes stays with me when she is in this area looking for work (She is a nurse and jobs where she lives are hard to find. She is 63.)
She has been very accepting of me and even went shopping with me.
It is relief to be able to be more open about my cross-dressing.
Bu I am still torn between doing and not doing it.

I only wear woman’s underwear, have never tried wigs or makeup and have no desire to go en fem outside.

Well that’s my story

I am 61 male, retired with Parkinson’s disease and heart problems. I am careful to cross-dress only when I feel very well. I ‘d hate to have the paramedics, see me all dolled up/.

I’ve been to the ER many times because of heart problems and occasionally PD.

I hope that membership in the cross dressers-forum can help e to accept this behavior.
I have a B cup breast form I think it is the perfect size for my body I am 6-4 ¾ inches tall and weigh around 170 lbs.

Stacy, it is a pleasure to meet you. Let me be the first to welcome you to our forum. I too struggle with the religious aspect of cross dressing. I also would have to say it is the way the clothes make me feel when they are on. I do love the way they fit my body and slip around as I move. It is a very nice feeling. I have and do dress more than what you do. I like to get fully dressed and feel like a women. I feel it very relaxing and liberating to me. Wearing nylons feel wonderful. Enough about me. Again welcome to our forum and I hope to get to know you.

Hugs,

Erica

Hello Stacy,

I too am 61 years young and can appreciate your feelings, but let me tell you from my perspective, dressing is a real joy for me! I never think of the paramedics catching me in one of my outfits, good point at our age, but if it is to be, it will be!

Just a side note, I recently went to a Fasion Bug store for some new jeggins, thought they would think it funny of a man purchasing them, but as the clerk helped me locate them, she inquired if they were for me wife or for me. I struck a pose and said they were for me, she found me the correct size. It felt wonderful.

Enjoy whatever level you are comfortable with, it is you!

Hi Stacey, as you look around you will find that anumber of us have struggled with our faith and how it impacts on or cross dressing, this is a subject that has been touched on in a numebr of streams, as you look around I am sure you will find some of them.

At this point I will just say that there can be a difference between what it says in the Bible, and what churches sometimes teach....and most importantly -wel-

Hi Stacy--
I just joined the 60s club here, although I've been with the forum for awhile. Welcome! I hope that you can continue to work out your issues with your faith.

Golly, I feel like a baby with everyones' ages :) I'm 57; been dressing since I was 5 or 6 and never gave religion any thought as to me being right or wrong -- good or bad. If you want to push your limits about church, I have a web page with plenty of churches that will accept us girls.

I vote stop beating yourself up. Supposedly God is forgiving. You should be too.

Welcome to the Forum!

Hi Stacey

That was not a good therapist, we crossdress and the desire never goes away. I think i know why I CD, but knowing what has not dimished my desire to do so.

I cannot believe that Jesus would not want you to crossdress. Crossdressing is harmless it is only cloth weaved in a variety of forms. I would hope that God would judge you onthe person you are and not what you wear.

Hugs,
