I confess my instinctive reaction is to be reminded of all those Benetton ads of the (?) 90s where they used socially charged issues to grab attention for their product.
This goes straight to those questions about why a man would need to wear a bra. Like, in a certain sense, it's a provocation to a lot of women - like people are supposed to get outraged. Just like they did with the Benetton ads.
I don't know that CDers (or Pejic) really benefit from women getting wound up on this issue (if indeed that's what's going to happen).

Well if the "shoe fits", he looks wonderful in the outfits. I think that this model is perfect for the ads. It so demonstrates that the push-up bra does indeed do it's intended job of acentuating the feminine bust. I can not see what is wrong with it. This model is feminine and why do people need to worry who is advertising it. She ( the model ) looks great in the ads I saw and if I was a gg I would say " I could look that great in an outfit like that if I was to be in such a bra!!
Maybe some time when we see ads like this in the future, we wont notice or care if it is a genetic male that looks like a women. She does look feminine and let us help her to be what she can be. Let's just say " That model sure looks stunning! "
Hugs.

If the woman inside of you needs to be free, let it happen, and you can soar.

I googled ["Andrey Pejic" Hema bra] just now and got 193,000 results. Close to the top I found this column by an outraged woman:

The closing paragraphs are:

The closing paragraphs are:
Pejic does nothing more than prove the bra delivers on its promises. But using a pretty boy to model a garment that is the epitome of femininity is like rubbing salt into the wounds of already vulnerable females.
How this girlie boy became an honorary member of the women's club is beyond me.

The add does shows that the bra works. Adding two cup sizes is a lot. I think some of the VS bras are similar in enhancement.Paula G wrote:..... as demonstrating that the product works
My guess there is a demand for the bras or they would not be making them.
Wonder if the controversy is more over that a guy is the model and wearing a bra, or that he looks so good and they are feeling an infringement on their feminine/womanhood.

Yes, youth, good genes, Anorexia, extreme excercise and lots of padding, professional makeup and a darn good corset!! I read somewhere that he does consider himself as trans of some flavor or another and would not mind being a woman.

Carolynn is right on the money about the anorexia, extreme execise, and make up. How many women will now think they are ugly because without professional help they don't look like him?
Look on the bright side. The ad exposes the fashion model industry for the illusion that it is.
