OK Caith why did I need permission to uplaod a photo into my album?.

First, I apologize you had to delete any existing photos. I hope you retained backup copies on your home computer before deleting them?
I'll review the configuration settings, because I didn't change any of them during the update. It's possible the new software is enforcing some limits that the old software never did. If so, I'll set them in accordance with the quotas already documented in the Announcements thread by Sharon.

Carol Ann, my initial guess was correct. The new forum software was enforcing a default limit that the old software never did. This limit was set rather low, so I have increased it. There was also a default setting for admins to review and approve new uploads, and I've disabled that setting for registered users of the forum.
