I won't bore everyone with a long intro as many of you will probably know me already. But I'm Sarah, a *cough* year old girl, from up north in the wet parts of the UK, currently and still very slowly, in transition. Many battles behind and many ahead.

Sarah, at the moment all parts of the UK are wet, just listening to the flood warnings on Radio 4 since I can't go out to work (I'm a gardener)

Good to see you again. I grew up in the middle of the blackest spot on the rainfall map of the UK on the west slopes of the Pennines. Now I live in the high rainfall zone of east coast Aus but at least the rain is warmer.
