Hi Jillian and -wel- ; well done for joining this community, I am sure that we will all do our best to help support you and your child. I am sure we all, CDs and partners will all do our best to give whatever advice you seek, joining us here you suggests you are already trying to understand, and want to be supportive yourself. The teenage years are a pretty difficult at the best of times, so I expect it is hard to get your child to talk much about this, I hope we can help.

There is a lot of information in the forum and feel free to ask questions in the forum. We have even been known to answer in chat.

Hi Jillian and welcome to advice central. Lots of good advice in the forum and if you want more just ask. Just remember we are a diverse bunch here and what works for one CDer may not work for the next.

We can help guild and encourage but what truely you son wants must come from within his self with reflection. And some trial and error.

I think you are already doing some of the best you can for him. It sounds like you are trying to accept him, find out information , and help him.

If you do not mind telling us, how old is your son?
