Hello
Hello Ladies,
I am a 22 year old cross-dresser, I have been dressing secretly since I was 7. I believe it all started with my curiosity and passion with pantyhose. I use to just wear my sisters clothes, but have now actually gone into stores buying my first pair of heels and tights without a "disguise". I look like a macho man so I'm convinced the clerks thought I was buying it as a gift or for my girlfriend. I am not gay but kind of wish I was so it would be less embarrassing for me to shop ( no offense to anyone) I am here to know more about what I can do to look more feminine and ways to get rid of body hair.
Would love to hear some advice from you ladies anytime and I am glad I found out about this site.

Re: Hello
Welcome Chelsea, from someone who's ultra-hairy, but shops for pantihose and bras without problems.
This is a wonderful place, lots of great people to meet and chat with.
All the best, kid,
Rikki

Re: Hello
Welcome, Chelsea.
I don't think gays that dress up like women have it all that easy from others gays - so maybe it's swings and roundabouts. It sounds like you're just starting to come out of your shell as a CD. But the shopping thing is less daunting than it appears. Generally, when I go into shops and buy stuff, the people behind the till are just happy to take my money. Most of the time they work out it's for me - that's bound to be so when I try stuff on, as I do with wigs and shoes - and often it works better if I'm just open like that. Then there's no confusion and everyone knows where they are. And we can have a conversation about what I'm buying - or not.

Re: Hello
Hi Chelsea,
glad to have you join us, and happy that you are comfortable with who you are. Well you know, the whole "gay vs. crossdresser" thing is really misunderstood, practically everyone I meet automatically assumes that I'm gay, except for those who really are. The few people I've met that are crossdressers are not gay either. So I can't figure out why everyone else keeps making this error.
Anyway, getting to more intersting things, we are very eager to hear about your shopping adventures and other experiences. When I was 22 I was not nearly so open about it as you are. And I have no advice to give about how to look beautiful, still struggling with that one................ rofl
