new and nervous

Post by Sara Wilson »

Hi I'm Sara. I'm a closet dresser and so glad to be able to get to talk to other girls like myself at last.

I'm from a small village in shropshire where everybody seems to know everybody and everyone's business so its hard for me to be myself so hopefully this can open the door to new friends who know what its like to want to dress, act and feel like a woman

Welcome, Sara. I guess that's the flip side of living in a village in the country.

Hi Sara, -wel- to the forum.

I know someone in Shifnal who has transitioned.

I've heard the 3 Furnaces pub (30 Bridgnorth Road Tweedale, Telford, Shropshire TF7 4JB) is totally TG friendly.

Hi Sara,

I think your post is something most of us can identify with. I am in a similar position to you, closeted, from the UK and totally not sure how (or if) to break down the closet door for fear of what may happen.

Since I joined a couple of forums though, I have been able to talk more with like-minded girls about how I feel and what I do, without any hang-ups about being judged, or whatever. This has been hugely helpful for me and boosted my confidence too. Oh - and it's good fun.

So take your time, feel your way around here and when you're ready, just join in - it will start to feel more natural talking about (and as) Sara, then your girl-side will take on a 'proper' life of her own.

That's what happened to me anyway.

Welcome to the site, it's a quiet little backwater of the raging torrent that is t'internet, and all the better for it. There are lots of lovely people here, and some local girls to make you feel like you have kindred spirits not too far away.
