Day out

Post by Paula G »

On Friday I am giving myself a day's holiday, I plan to use it to achieve a couple of things, to spend the day and night as Paula, and to visit Wells Cathedral. My plan so far is to wait until my daughter is at school and my wife at work, bath, shave and dress, then drive down to Wells, lunch and then visit the cathedral, go to the hotel, get changed have dinner and sleep. After breakfast carry on to Cardiff to visit my Mother, maybe a little light shopping, and then spend the Saturday afternoon and Sunday with Mum; then home.

My question for you ladies is does anyone know a decent, cheap place where I can get a decent dinner, sleep and breakfast as Paula anywhere near wells? or between Wells and Cardiff?

Wouldn't there be a Wells or Cardiff website? Maybe a tourist site with helpful info?

Have a wonderful time. I hope you find a decent place at a decent price. Good luck and enjoy.

Yes there are some good useful sites, but there is nothing like personal recommendation, especially for girls like us.

Since it is pouring with rain here and I can't do any work I have bitten the bullet and booked an Hotel for Friday night. I will be staying at the Best Western, Webbington Hotel. This is a Country House style hotel which looks rather good, I managed to get a decent deal and am looking forward to a good night at the end of a good day. Now I have to start thinking about my packing, which of course means planning what I am going to wear!

I know what you mean, my friend Remy has helped me a few times when i have been nervous. I had a great time, sight seeing and then staying at the delightful hotel. It was really nice, and everyone I met was very nice as well, what more can a girl ask for?
