Hello Everyone,
I wanted to introduce myself. I am Christine, although I use to be known as Chrissie. I prefer Christine as it is the name I choose for myself.
Like most of us I felt that I was different when growing up and never really understood the feelings I had so I suppressed it for a long time. I was well into my thirties before I started experimenting with CDing.
I am mid-forties now and am still getting to know Christine, right now I have a love of Lolita fashions and actually it is the only style of clothes I like to wear. I think this is because it really suits my body shape in that the petticoats provide a much more feminine figure. Also I just love the way the dresses look.
My wife is aware of Christine and has met her once. This was a planned meeting, so there was not any drama, although there has been drama before. It took many years for her to face the fact that I am a gender variant person. Well I cannot blame her for that because I tried very hard not to accept it either. As all of here know we do not have a choice about who we are and how we feel. As I discovered we do have a choice how we deal with it.
At this time in my life I am choosing to be who I am, yet still consider the feelings of those who I am closest. To that point I mean except for my wife I choose to keep Christine secret from my other family and friends. Really, there is no need for them to know. If that changes than I will be happy to explain it.
I would like to say I look forward to meeting new friends and I am happy to be here.
