Hello all
My name is Eileen, happily married to a wonderful man that has admitted to being a cross dresser. He's on this forum, and some others, but I wanted to join in the conversations to further help me understand him/her. I'm a bit confused about all this compulsion to be female. Hoping to talk with some of the other wives or girlfriends on how to be supportive and also keep 'her' in check.

Hi Eileen,

Thankyou for taking the time to 'learn' about this.. not everyone would I know. There's a whole range of people, with different reasons and needs - so feel free to ask away and someone should be able to help xx

Welcome, Eileen.
I think it's more of a drive than a compulsion.

Re: Hello all
Thanks for the welcomes everyone! I want to be very upfront with my (our) situation. The exact details at this time are not important. My guy opened up about his need, compulsion, drive, whatever, and mentioned several sites and forums to view for my personal enlightenment. I was able to view some conversations, assuring me that this CD thing is not about cheating on the wife. Many forums have a section for the partners, I picked this one for two reasons, 1) he's not here very much, 2) the format is pretty.
He doesn't know I have signed on a forum. I won't use his/her name to avoid self editing. Maybe I'm wrong about that, but I would want all responses to be compleatly anonymous.
Through much research, I have learned a lot. Still, it's not the same as talking to others going through the same experiance. I know some wives will never accept, with threat of divorce. I'm not that type. I do want to understand better, even encourage his desires. I will not accept a pro forma lesbian relationship. There are boundaries.

Re: Hello all
Dear Ronnie,
There are a lot worse things a guy could do to occupy his time. This may be strange, different, or hard to understand, but not sick. looking at the positive side, at least my guy is not going to turn into a big fat slob. He keeps his skin nice and clean, and worries about personal appearance. Where's the harm in that?

Thank you for your reply,
My SO, would have preferred that I'd had an affair, that she could understand, this she can not. (and will not try)
My job requires me to travel a lot, there is a lot of pressure and this is how I deal with that. I come back to my room get into En femme mode and become my private assistant.
She answers email, finishes drafting requirements etc..
excuse me for carrying.
It is nice to relate to someone who cares.

Re: Hello all
Hi Eileen,
to thr forum. So nice to have more SO to chat and learn from. Your opinion and all around understanding of crossdressing is greatly appreciated to us. The general public is not to accepting of crossdressing, we get all the labels that go on with expressing our fem sides, so it is nice to have women like you who are willing to understand and find what we are all about. Crossdressing is about how we feel in the inside, when I first started crdsing I thought it would be a quick phase and then be gone, wrong, it took me years to realize that crdsing was such a huge part of who I am. Since I accepted my fem side I feel I've become a totally better person inside and out. Crding can be often or sometimes it fades away for a little while but it will be with us for life. Again so nice to have you here, hope to chat sometime, the chatroom is great to ask ? and give opinions.

Re: Hello all
Dear Ronnie,
Did your wife actually say she'd prefer an affair to deal with? That is so totally closed minded. Buying your own bra and panties will not bring home a disease like from exchanging body fluids with a stranger. I guess I'm more tolerant since my guy is satisfied with occasionally dressing femme. I get the part of stress relief, for myself, I just need to take off the bra and wear baggy clothes.
Nicole Rose,
I can only understand from my point of view. My guy is an occasional dresser, satisfied with an outing now an then. I don't see him dressed other than 'nights out with the girls' some of whom I've met. He doesn't push his femme side into our relationship, but we do talk about his woman feelings. It's kinda nice to know that we look at certain fashions in a catalog, he's looking at the clothing and not the model.
