To new friends.

Post by Betty B. »

Hi, Betty here. I started dressing at about 8, then got away from it (mostly) for a long time. I'm 55 now, and have been dressing progressively more and more in the last 5 years. I came out to my wife of 15 years about 8 months ago, and she seems to be very understanding and accepting to this point. I have a brother that transitioned to female about 15 years ago, and my family is still split up about it.

I'm still trying to figure out what I'm doing and what I want. Hopefully I'll get some good advice here.

Glad to meet you all.

Welcome, Betty.

Given your background, of your brother and the friend you mentioned in your other thread transitioning, the idea of permeable boundaries between the genders probably seems natural to you.

Maybe that's part of the reason your wife has been understanding so far, because she believes that CDing is an expression of permeable boundaries between the genders.
