Thanks, girls, for the warm welcome! The suggestion to go slow for my wife's sake is a good one. But I feel like I'm "all dressed up with no where to go" and bursting at the seams. For us, it seems to be two steps forward and one step back - or one step forward and two steps back. She was trying with the toenail polish but it was too much, so (with deep regret off it came - well, except when I can get away with it.) She likes having a man in the house, in bed, etc., although she says "sometimes" it might be fun to have her girlfriend Rachel - don''t have any idea what that means and I'm sure she doesn't either.

Bottom line is she wants to be supportive but emotionally it's just too foreign for her, so it's verbal support but then emotional retrenchment. At least it's not boring!

Hugs and kisses to all,
Rachel

Rachel, Welcome to the site. We have a saying here, "Baby steps". You say a year ago you were wearing panties all the time and nighty to bed, and your wife was ok with that. Then you added painted toes. Now after a year you have moving on to a full wardrobe. That is a bit of a big jump dear. I can understand why your wife did some back petalling. We also have some other words we push here: Communication, Communication, COMMUNICATION.

Good luck.

^ this exactly! it isn't a race, slow down and be happy that you have a supportive wife. there are MANY on here who don't have that.

welcome to the Haven Rachel! -wel-

I only came out to my wife two weeks ago and it has been a bit of a roller coaster ride. Patience and baby steps plus lots of communication is the only thing holding us together at the moment. Good luck to you both!
Don't worry about what other people think, because they don't.
