I bought a good posture bra from Carol Wright Gifts. Couldn't beat the price. BD says my posture needs work because I slouch too much. LOL. I had to agree with her though. So good bye bad posture.

I had to purchase some new skirts as I have dropped a size from 14 to 12. I purchase a black day skirt and a black check pencil skirt. They both fit beautifully and look very smart. Now I will have seek out some new tops to wear with them.

The sales are just starting, but very soon Target in Canada will be history. I did manage to get a nice Champion C9 sports bra for 6 bucks. Not sure where I'm going to get Champion stuff when they depart. Had a couple of nice dresses -- but not on sale yet -- let the 40% off begin soon please!

I can thank Target for getting me in to skorts -- and a node to a an SA girl in the one in Kamloops who when asking what size I was looking for, smiled when I answered, I take a large please

Target going kapoots in Canada; does that anything to do with the being hacked?

Today I went out specifically for a long sleeve blouse, but by the time I came home I had two new dresses, a tunic, skirt, tank top, white cardigan, and a black pair of tights. Hmm, what happened to the blouse?

Yep Target Canada is in its final months -- clearance sales to start in 2 weeks or so, and then in 4 to months -- gone!

Total mismanagement seems to be the reason. For one thing, we Canadians expected US pricing -- but it wasn't even close. Same stuff in US store just across the border was still cheaper, and even Walmart here in Canada was cheaper.

The big reason though was store stock and distribution. For example, some store had shoe departments, but other similarly sized stores didn't. Things went on sale, yet due to issues within distribution networks, never showed in stores. Stock never got replenished. Plus what they did have was weird -- like some sports bras -- a whole bunch of extra small, smome mediums, but no smalls or larges of the same colour -- ever. They had no idea of the way the Canadian market works or the particularities of distributing across the huge distances between stores.

When the store opened in Kamloops. they had a whole whack of Champion C9 skorts. Yet - the one they had on the mannequin was the only one of that style they had, and it was in MY size. Eventually I had to ask for it.

Sad bit is that big management is exiting with huge cash settlement -- the CEO is getting millions of dollars -- even though he tanked the company. Meanwhile, some workers in trenches are getting a measly 16 weeks pay -- and will have trouble collecting unemployment

sigh

A new dresser and chest of drawers for the guest bedroom. Seems I need more room to hold the ever growing wardrobe.

I recall early on Virginia mentioning thrift stores in a post. It had been many years since I had been in a thrift store, but wow, I’ve found one in particular that’s a gold mine! It’s nicely organized by clothing type, i.e. dresses, skirts, blouses, etc., they have it all grouped by color, and now they’re even separating the articles by size too.

Yesterday I was there and within minutes I had a couple skirts, four blouses, and several spaghetti strap tanks. All these cute clothes for less than the price of one item at a department store. And, it’s not unusual to find brand new clothes with the tag still on them. What a great place to shop (specifically) right now because I’m going through sooooo many outfits searching for the combos that work.

Yesterday my wife had a doctor's appointment in the "Big City" so we took the opportunity to go shopping at the mall. I was fully underdressed in some of my better white lacy attire and black thigh highs with a sweater and jeans. My lovely wife was similarly attired but in black lace. I bought a couple of very nice Bali 42DD bras, a waist nipper which I now wish I had bought a size smaller - working on a hour glass figure 8) also picked up another pair of leggings. My honey bought a couple of nice pullover tops and some facial treatment cream.

We then headed over to the "toy" store to see what new stuff was on offer... Of course with 50 Shades opening this weekend they had a number of fun things to purchase. Then we made our way to the local craft ale house for lunch and a pint or two of ale and split a sandwich. After her appointment we headed down the interstate at a pretty fair clip dodging all the big rig trucks.

We love our shopping excursions! :)

I bought a white blouse and white sweater for less than $6. The cashier asked if they were for me and I told her they were. She then complimented me on my choices and the watch I was wearing.

To day I purchased a new black genuine leather skirt and blue floral skirt and a black check top and white top with vertical and horizontal black lines. They fit beautifully and I cannot wait till next weekend to wear them.

A leather skirt, nice. I wonder if I could make that work for me. Probably not, a blue floral print works better for my personality. After you get a chance to wear it, please let me know how you like it. :)

I am in Vt skiing. This afternoon, I went to two consignment shops and picked up a bra, long slip in one. In the second, I bought a long skirt, and tried in a few things. The best was in A Loft store, I walked in and the SA s aid "can I help you?. I said I was looking for a skirt or dress. She said "What would she like,we have plenty of nice skirts. I said no, It's for me. She said a bit louder what size is she.I said again. I, I want to buy a dress for myself. Oh she said (finally got it). She showed me around and would chech with me from time to time. I wore my bra and breastforms all day so I picked out a dress and a blouse. She took me to the fitting rooms, and gave me one. I tried them on and she asked If I needed help. I wasn't sure of th fit so I ask if she would take a look. Sure, it looks great on you. I didn't take the blouse but bought them dress. I can't believe how Loft is so excellent at fitting CD's. I am in my slip and skirt now.

The black leather skirt is beautiful and comfortable to wear thank you Robyn. It is a soft leather and falls to just above the knee and the size 12 fits me nice and snuggly.

At my age I to should be wearing the blue floral, however I like to get adventurous at times.

Thanks Robyn,
I did get the Liz Claiborne, but unfortunately, it was the wrong size, as I ordered an XL, thinking it would fit having a large chest area, but it looks too loose on me. I really have to go to a dept store one day to have myself measured, so I know which size to buy, and not have to try to return it.
