A fair number of folks could put their kids through college on the amount of money it would take to make me presentable in french maid's uniform. I think I'll just keep saving up for that wedding dress, thank you very much.

I've always seen French Maids costume as one of the most feminine attire one could wear. It's one of those costumes I really hope to own some day (along with many, many others...) . But aquiring something like French Maids costume where I live, is not exactly easy, I'd either have to order it online, or...or...well, I'd have to order it online.
But I really dont like to do that, it's so hard to know what fits you, and what doesn't without trying them on.
Sure, I could propably find somekind of store somewhere that would sell costumes like this, but I'm still very shy about my crossdressing, so I doubt I'd have the guts to buy something like this from a store.

Waah! Silly me...life is too short, I should live it to the fullest. But ahh...oh well, I'm still young, I have lot of time to gather my courage. :)

So, to put it short...no, I dont have French Maids costumes, but hopefully soon I will, while I'm still young and slim. :P

The CD store that I am going to tommor is where I bought my french maids uniform. I will ask them about how to take measurements for your self (most them come in three size S,M,L and some 1X ....) But I shall inquare for you about the best way of going about buying such an item. Keep and eye out for the links section where I will then palces the there address. If you want you PM and I will inform you of what I found out. Just remmember it may be a day or so before I am able to return your message. The people at this store are really friendly.

That's awfully nice of you. But dont worry, I have time to wait, I am not that impatient.

visit versastile fasions at http://www.versatilefashions.com/
They have wonderful uniforms and some of them are quite reasonable.
Also check http://www.ldfashions.com for them.

Both sites will custom make uniforms and Versatile has a great sizw chart you can use.

Here i am in my 3 uniforms:

This one is the inexpensive satin one from a costume shop with a real petticoat.

This uniform came from eBay via a friend who no longer wanted it and is actually too big for me. It is custom made.

This uniform is from Versatile Fashions and is the best one I have by far. It is black Velvet and I wear 3 petticoats under it. I had them altered to be the right length for the uniform.

No offense, but I don't think I could get Deborah into a French Maid's outfit! just not her style, however I see my (twin sister - Darlene) has one so I will give it some furthur thought.
And Rae Louise: Amen to Beauty's statement! GREAT LEGS!!
Love,
Deborah

I just took a second look at the poll of this message string and am surprised by how many people actually have maid uniforms.
