Satin blouse

Who else loves satin blouses? I have a wardrobe full in different styles ? I love pussybow ones also like deep cuffs maybe 3 buttons. My favourite colour is silver it's so shiny.i even have a striped silk one from the 80s with shoulder pads very dynasty .the blouses then were to die for!

I love the feel of satin. Though I prefer pullovers, a satin blouse would be super great!

Ah yes. The Dynasty look, I remember it well. I, like most women back then, had a couple of those blouses and we wore them as it was the fashion rage. Thinking back they were hot to wear, creased easily, difficult to put on with their pearl like satin covered buttons and multi button cuffs, and the struggle to get the bow just right. Now when you add the fact some of them had very pronounced shoulder pads leaving us looking like linebackers I have to wonder what was I thinking?

Yes it is fun to reminisce and look back at old pictures or even dress in retro or vintage attire but today's fashions are far more comfortable and practical. All that said if we were back in the 80's and those blouses were in fashion I am sure I would have a few in my closet and wear them proudly.

Satin blouses do feel so nice! Not for everyday wear, just special dinners out or family parties. One button cuffs and toned down shoulder pads works for me.
