Future Car Shopping

Post by Davita »

Had lunch with an office mate the other day to celebrate my birthday and to just do some catching up. We talked house, family, etc. then we got on the topic of grand kids needing a car. I was telling my bud that I was looking into a new car so I could give up mine. I mentioned wanting a hybrid or a full electric. My job is to pick a date that she and I will go shopping. I'll be fem and she will be herself, of course, so us two ladies will be looking to have a laugh with some sales dude wanting to mansplain things to us. She's had her experiences and so have I; we want to just see how that world of boys trying to sell a couple girls a car will work out. Wish us luck even though we aren't going to buy anything, just get more informed about my options. :) Wheee we girls have fun.

On a side note, my phy therapist offered some of her clothes since she's lost weight. Gotta love being open about me. I declined for the moment however as our tastes are a bit diff plus the brand she offered tends to run short on me. Oh well.

My wife has a Lexus Hybrid and she really likes it. She has had few issues and it drives nice.

Darned if we didn't make it out to any dealerships. Nor did we talk cars again when we got together. It wound up being an education session for my bud. She got to ask questions she never asked about me. That reminds me, she has a couple office pics of this girl in a meeting I need to ask for. I remember the outfit, but I'm not exactly sure which meeting it was. So old *sigh* Anyway, I got to wear one of my new dresses finally. It was a green print midi with a decent neck line that I never had to figit with. The sleeves were a nice length as well so my pits were covered without reaching my elbows. So many shorts sleeves these days might as well not be sleeves at all.

So the fun moment was needing to show ID for my vet discount. Well I pretty much knew exactly what was going to happen, but my bud was waiting for the reaction that never happened. So was I read in advance or am I ordinary in this part of the world? I suspect both in this instance.
