Ok.. I know I've gotten people back on the post the first thing on your mind and don't respond to posts here, but .. lol..
Thank you Lorna for letting me call you in the middle of the night, the night before I left for a few days. Things were really heavy on me and you totally let me vent dispite the fact that it was almost midnight. lol
OOOPS!!!
Talking to you made it easy to say good bye on the next evening, though I didn't know that was going to happen when we'd talked the night before.
I promise I didn't read the forum while I was gone. So, as I go through these different threads and see how nice people have been I've honestly wanted to cry, but I don't do that a lot (too much male training I guess). However, I feel the warmth and love which makes me well up.
I like that you kept telling people not to worry and you were right!

ok.. now back to the FIRST THING ON MY MIND!!!!
I MISSED YOU ALL !!!!

Woo-wee!
We've got one TERRIFFIC thunderstorm up in the Northeast right now! Water is rising up to my door... and I have never seen lightning bolts this huge!
The last thunderclap just set off a few car alarms in the neighborhood. It sounded like an explosion! Plus the ground shook with that last boom...
Lightning had to have struck very close by. I'm thinking that maybe I should not be using anything electrical right now... getting VERY nervous...
Man, I don't recall a thunderstorm this intense since I was 7 years old.

Lorna,
I know what you mean, I live in the Northeast too. Last nights storm was pretty intense. My husband and I were out having dinner at the time, we just got done eating our meal and then the resturant lost it's power for a bit, even the street lights were out. Oh, and did I mention that I have a HUGE fear of lightning
so needless to say, my husband (and kids) weren't very thrilled that we had to wait (1 hour) until the storm ended
(I have to be indoors during a lightning storm)
