Hi again Stef,

You're welcome! (--) It's true though!

Darn! I love those earrings and I was hoping by some miracle they were not for pierced ears. :)

What do people say or what did they say when you had it done?

:-k

Beauty, they do make hoop clip ons and Stef found them! Where did you find those at Stef? Was it Claires? They actually had a bunch of cool ones. I bought 3 pair.

Hi Cami,

I have several pair, but they aren't as big as those were. :)

Are you saying you got a pair that big?

Hello Everyone,

I think they're fabulous earrings, Stef, I'd like a pair like that myself, but my wife isn't happy about me getting my ears pierced, so I haven't (and won't) get it done. Trouble is, here in UK, I find it extraordinary difficult to find any clip-on earrings, far less ones that look good. And clip-ons hurt so much, don't they. Still, I suppose we've all got to suffer for our art.

Hugs everybody,

Caroline.

Thanks Beauty! When I had it done my male persona was abit on the wild side so it really didn't surprise anyone. I have a reputation for doing whatever I want and people have learned to not be surprised. LOL I have lots of freckles and where the hole is on my right ear, is right on top of a freckle so they aren't noticable at all.

Thanks Caroline! It was actually my wife's (now ex) idea to have them done. (which means I lied to Beauty, my ears have been pierced for about 4 1/2 years) She said it was less noticable to have them pierced than to explain why I have those red marks on my ears the day after I wore clip ons. Have you ever tried the earrings with screw backs? I have found that they are much more comfy.

Cami, I think I know of a place that has them almost as big as the ones I am wearing but you want to talk about pain, those things hurt after you take them off. They are spring loaded (your's are too aren't they?) and because of the size have stiffer springs.

Hugs,
Stef

I have my left ear pierced and my mother payed for it when I was 16. She did it to bother my father. At the time she did not know about the fact that I am a crossdresser.

Thanks Stef.

I would have to hide any piercing.

I found this link on the web about hiding the piercing. I wonder if it's do-able? She looks pretty reputable and on another page references the place Cami did. (Claire's)

My ears have been peirced for so long I cant remember when I had them done. Maybe 10 years ?
Beauty, I found by wearing smaller, or lighter ones they dont enlarge the holes in my ears, so they are not noticable at all.

Beauty,

It would probably be doable. I don't see what not. I believe that we CD's worry too much about what people will notice. I have found that most people live in their own world and don't give much attention to what's going on outside their own "little world" What may be glaringly obvious to us, no one else will give it a second thought.

You luv me anyways Cindy!! LOL

Hugs,
Stef

I wanted my ears pierced for a long time, but I knew my wife would be resistant to it. I had one ear pierced before I met my wife. Finally she really wanted to get her hair permmed, which I hate, so she made me a deal. She said I could get my ears pierced if she could get a perm. So off the the Mall we went. At the time I owned my own Electrical Contracting company. While a few people were surprised, most people who knew me were not. I have never really cared much what others think about me. and people who know me at all, know that, so there was not much conversation about my earrings. That was about 7 years ago. I absolutely love having my ears pierced. I really want to wear long and dangly earrings, but my wife absolutely will not allow this. However, I do have gold hoops that she bought me that are pretty fat, and about 3/4' diameter, and she bought me some diamond studs which i also really like. Mostly because she bought them.
Love to all

Hey Beauty,

I don't know the reason why you can't get your ears pierced but there are flesh-colored plastic inserts that you can get that cover the holes. I have several firends who have huge-gauged peircings (in the 12-8 gauge range) that work in professions that they can't wear peircings to work, so they use those and they work pretty good.

I'm getting my ears peirced (again) this summer. I had my first peircing when I was 8, my mom encouraged me and thought it was cool. :)

Unfortunently with me being the little boy I was, I didn't do the proper aftercare and it got dirty and infected, so it had to come out. :(

I love your new avitar Beauty, you are as beautiful on the outside as well as the inside. Your pictures are stunning as well Stef.

(--)
