The transgendered will soon get their turn in the sandbox...

Post by Nick »

I didn't know where to post this, so I decided to post it here, as per there wil be quite a bit for me to cope with. I am in the Army Reserve, and will be en route to Iraq sometime within the next week.

I've wondered what the consequence would be if the army knew about me... I will admit that I am scared to go, and have thought about showing off Celes to get me out, but I won't. I'll do my best to stay in one piece while I'm over there, and I'll come home and show everyone I know what they are so proud of! Crazy little PFC that wears dresses!

'Twill be great to come back.

Fear not, however. I will still post while I am over there, because they have free internet (I think). I know that I got to talk to my bro every night while he was over there via chat lines and email and whatnot.

Have a fun life and take nothing for granted!

Celes,

Remember that you have no right to uncensored internet communication and military could find you posting to this site. I am not sure they will, but they can as far as I know.

Having said that, I know you must be scared, I would be scared out of my mind. Thanks for having the courage to serve anyway when you could probably get out if it if you wanted to.

I will be thinking of you, and I am so glad that people like you are willing to serve, so people like me can go out en femme in a free country. Please take care of yourself.

Love always,
Elizabeth

It's amazing how many crossdressers are military. I'm military also. It really sucks because we have to give up our right to privacy on a regular basis. I used to keep my clothes in my dorm room, locked in the closet, until they did a "shakedown" inspection in the dorm next door, meaning that no closet was left locked, no mattress left unturned.

Then I kept my clothes in my car, until they did a "random anti-terrorism inspection," checking all the compartments along with the laundry bag containing "my girlfriend's clothes."

I came close to just throwing everything away and waiting until I got out, but then I had the opportunity to move off-base. Now my best dresses hang in the closet right next to my air force blues, and that's the way it's going to stay.

Hi Celes!!! :)

Keep low and grow eyes in back of your head, sis, and keep your guard up!!. From what a couple of my students said who have returned recently from the Big Sandbox, it's extreme boredom, you let your guard down, then suddenly seconds or hours of extreme action where somebody you don't know is trying to kill you, or you have to help somebody hurt by a bomb along the road and watch for snipers. Then more boredom. Lots of little comforts are in short supply, but there is more sand than you will have ever seen in your life, and it gets into everything. Food may not be great either, and kinda crunchy from the grit. Take plenty of sunscreen, and you will need the small packs of wipes since showers (clean water) are in short supply too. Good skin soap is non-existent. I have sent care packages to my friends with these and other little things, since you just can't take enough. If you would like to PM me with your APO address, I would be pleased to do the same for you sis. In any event, take care of yourself, do what you have to, and come home safe. (--)
