In a neighbouring thread, Kerri posted a link to a photo of Aberdeen, the city where she lives. Now, I'm a very visual person, so I thought it would be fun to see where you all live. Post either a photo (not too large, please) or a link to a photo of the place you call home. (Of course, do this only if you want and feel secure about this.)
I'll get the ball rolling. Although I currently live in Montreal, Quebec, I basically have two homes in this country--one here and the other in Victoria, British-Columbia.
Don't have any photos of the village itself so here are a couple of views from my front porch looking across the front yard toward the village of West Burke...

I hope this works. I have never put a picture up.
This is where I live, that is the light rail train near me.
This is my neighborhood. It is a little bit different from Kathy's.
Amelie
CJ I dont fancy living in Montreal but Victoria looks better.
Donna, is that a volcano to your north Mt Vernon, or am I mistaken?
Kathy thats a very pretty outlook.
Amelie, Ive seen that comic character before, but it was a long time ago.
I look onto an industrial estate, which is full of 10 wheel rigs known here as "artics". Not very pretty to look at, but thats life and my home.
The Aberdeen area is very industrial with mile upon mile of drilling pipe yards and welding shops.
I live in Lancaster, Ca. It is in the high desert of southern California. It is in Northern Los Angeles County, about 40 miles north of Los Angeles. There are no tall buildings, and many of the city's 165,000 residents commute to Los Angeles to work.
OK, now compare my photos above with these I just shot this morning...
Yes, I used the same camera and they are in color.
