Right this second I wouldn't take that pill, but like Beauty said, I examine the issue every so often. Sometimes it feels like I examine it every week!Of course the 24 hour version would be great, and I think lots of non-CD men would even go for that.

Like others have said I would be more interested in a temporary pill. If my loved ones were more open minded I may consider a more permanant transformation.

Hi there,

I decided to revive this one instead of creating another thread about the same thing. :)

The "Would you?" thread is now closed. Please continue to post your thoughts about this topic here. This seems to be a question we seem to ask quite a bit. Even on other forums. :)

I did a thread like this on another forum and got about a 60/40 reaction when I stressed the point that once you changed it was permanent. However I added the twist that once you did change, it would be as if you always were a woman and no one, not even your own family would remember you as a male. So if this were the 'Matrix' would I take the red pill, or would I take the blue?

Gee let me think...RED DEFINITLY! :P

Let's see now. Be the girl I have always been, with no memory anywhere of this life of confusion and unhappiness, or continue life as I have for the last 56 years.( :-k ing for about .5 seconds) Truly, I would swap out in a Las Vegas heartbeat! :)

choose to be a real girl?

Post by Jean »

No. In all honesty, I would never choose to be a real girl. I'm perfectly happy being a man. But, I just love to dress up in frilly, or elegant, women's clothes. I'm wearing a dress right now, and I love it.

But, from the time I was a kid, I always identified with manly men, and with men thimgs. When I'm not wearing a dress, or a slip, I'm really quite macho, and I like it that way.

What I can't figured out is, why women get so excited about men wearing dresses or lingerie. It doesn't really change them. they're the same as they always were. One thing I've noticed, is that women enjoy seeing a man in women's clothes, so long as he's embarassed or humiliated by it. but, as soon as they detect that he's enjoying it, then they don't like it anymore! What's the big deal?! What's wrong with enjoying it?

would you

Post by Absaroka »

Interesting how a number of replies say something along the lines of "yes if I could be pretty" or " or yes I would like to have breasts" Maybe a better question would be if you would be an average looking woman due for a masectomy. And by the way being conventionally pretty is something women don't get to make a choice about, unless they are rich.

Unfortunately in our society being a woman does sometimes become about being pretty.

Here is a thought from my experience. Over the years I have gotten to know a great many women from the local prison halfway house. This is where they go after being released from prison but before they re enter society. On television or the movies women criminals are often portryed as exciting, glamorous, and beautiful. However the women in the halfway house are in general tired, beaten down by life, and often fairly unattractive. Nothing glamorous about any of them and there is often a feeling that they are not going to be free of insitutions for long.

Of course lots of ugly women don't go to jail. But the sad truth is that they will have fewer options than the attractive ones.

I have also known enough women who were sexy knock outs to know that being ravishingly beautiful carries with it its own curse.

So in answer to the question, one of the things that seems to go with being a woman is that your appearance is suddenly going to be an awful lot more important, wether you like it or not. One more reason to enjoy being a man

Respect to all choices

girls, I have thought about this thread since it first came out. I'm soon going to be fifty four, I have struggled with being a manly man all my life. Never been good at anything real manly, sports (particapating and watching.) I was in drama, band, and rock bands, and enjoyed dressing since I was 6 or 7. Maybe I would like to be a woman just to see if I could be a better person as a woman. At this point in my life I would have to say no, I wouldn't like to a woman. I like dressing as one. And I enjoy my job as man, alot of other things would have to be considered, family, Job and friends. Nope not for me. Kristen

I think this thread is what pushed me into registering.

I would take a temporary pill in a heartbeat!!!!
However, as much as I enjoy being a girl, I also enjoy being a boy! I love the activities I do in both personas. I would never want to give up being me! And I am BOTH the girl me and the boy be.

On the flip side I would LOVE to have breasts! I don't think I have ever been as jealous as I was when my wife got her breast augmentation. I really wished it was me. But, at least it was the next best thing, It was the person I cared about most! Honestly, given society and the things I enjoy in life, I would not get them even if I could. I just wish I could have breast and be who I am now. Unfortunately I don't ever see that being posible. But, I have my dreams.
Wow, I love this place.
Thanks

I have to agree with many of the ladies here in that I don't want to permanently become a woman. I would definitely be interested in a temporary version of the "wonder pill" even if the effects were to last a year (it would be difficult to experience the full range of female emotions and experiences even in 12 months). I feel like I have the best of both worlds the way things are now. I'm not ready to fully commit to one gender or the other.

Take Care :)

I don't think I would want to become a woman 24/7. I think by dressing occasionally as a woman, it better gives me an appreciation of women. If I were a woman 24/7, I might "take it for granted." Most of the time I am in male mode but dressing up helps me to get in touch with my inner female side. Thanks.
