I love the Value Village, great selection, the prices can't be beat, and nobody gets their business up in your business. Plus it's not the mall.
I don't mind the mall, but Value Village is one of my favourites.

Huge selection of women's clothing, including lingerie, swimwear, and some aerobic wear.

Prices are very good too. I bought a nice yellow dress and it cost under $10.

Besides, I think value village does some minor cleaning of garments before being put out on the racks, as it smells fresh.

Well its cold here today so I went to Goodwill again with the intention of going through every rack in the place -- I think I did! Not much luck! Bought one cream colored cable knit turltle neck sweater (very nice) One pair of black silk slacks and a unique black ?sweater? top. It is hard to describe. It has two "flaps" on the front that would make it look like you have on a second black shirt/sweater. It really looks nicer than I can describe. I also found an absoultely beautiful silk blouse, with subdued flowery print in my size, but it had a pocket on the front breast, A POCKET! I could not believe it, why would they ruin a beautiful blouse like that by putting a pocket on it! unbelieveable!

Hi all,

I find that I do look at femme items in malls, but usually only buy things on sale or with coupons (or both when I can), mostly for my wife (not counting jewelry from the dollar store).

Most of my femme clothing items I buy online from the clearance sections of catalog websites. The area mall and retail stores don't seem to carry gartered stockings, longline bras and open bottom foundations.

In the thrift stores. I can find the more old fashioned, less revealing styles of some formal and festive clothing that I prefer, along with other clothing at great prices.

What little makeup I have has come from local retail stores (Target, Walmart, etc.)

Beauty, One thing about the thrift stores is...... If you see and it fits, but to day cuz, tommorow it'l be gone.. One more thing is you have to have an open mind with thrift shopping, you look until you find something, some days are great like Virginia's, the other days you there for hours only to know that there is nothing for you. It's a kick and the prices are to die for. I once spent $6.00 on 4 tops , one was a sweater. I like them thrift stores, Goodwill, ARC, and Salvation Army. Kristen
