Maggie's New Look, New Adventure
I recently took my crossdressing up a notch, changed my look with a nice reddish wig, and went out of town totally and continuously en femme for three straight days. I have just uploaded some new photos to the Gallery (look under "Maggie"), so you can get an idea of my new image.
I had interactions with many people (including, believe it or not, a former governor of the state), all of whom reacted to me as if I were a real woman.
I faced many challenges during the trip, but probably the most interesting was when I had to stop at a gas station to get air in one of my tires, which had become almost flat due to a slow leak. Because it was Sunday, everything at the station was "self-serve," with no attendant to help me. So I drove the car over to where the air hose was, in order to fill the tire myself. I had been to church that morning, and was wearing a straight skirt, blouse, pantyhose and high-heeled pumps. So I knew it would be a little awkward.
But what made it more of a challenge was that right next to the air hose were a half dozen middle-aged men with leather jackets and motorcycles. I had no choice but to face them, because this was the only gas station within miles, and my tire was almost flat.
Summoning up my best acting skills, I got out of the car, and daintily squatted down at the tire in my skirt and heels, with a tissue in my hand to remove the tire's dirty valve cap. One of the men graciously came over, told me to put away the tissue because he would do it for me. He was very chivalrous and helpful, filled the tire with air, checked the pressure with my pressure guage, and even pointed out the nail in the tire that was causing the slow leak. All the bikers were very pleasant toward me, and I responded like a perfect lady.
I drove off quite relieved and proud of my performance.

Thanks. I really wanted to get as close as I could to experiencing life as a woman, out in public, on a daily basis. I had this opportunity because my wife was out of town for a week, giving me a long weekend to myself. I told her what I planned to do. She hates the fact that I crossdress, and wants nothing to do with it, but is willing to accept the fact as long as I promise not to change my gender.Anne wrote:You are looking great! Your adventures out sound great also - are you trying to experience life & interactions more as Maggie? How is the SO with this?

During my three-day trip I interacted with hotel personnel, servers at restaurants, sales clerks, and other people I met in passing. I had long interactions with women at an antiques outlet, where I was shopping for the kind of earrings that have screw posts (since I don't have pierced ears). That was a lot of fun.
On Saturday night I attended a TG support group meeting and went with some of the members to a bar afterwards. I attended church on Sunday morning, where I conversed with several church members (including the former governor whom I previously mentioned). After stopping for lunch and having my encouter with the motorcyclists, I bought a casual skirt and walking shoes at a Goodwill Thrift store and did some walking around a historic battlefield and a large public garden.
I found the whole experience of doing these things as a woman to feel wonderfully pleasurable, relaxing, natural, and liberating. I consider myself very lucky to have had this unforgettable opportunity.
