I was just thinking of going out in normal girls clothes, so i had an excuse to be wearing a skirt and high heels in public.

If I could find a good hockey mask, I'd go as Jason. Or maybe a grey flightsuit and I could be a Ghostbuster. I went to work two years ago enfemme for Halloween. I had a blast with all the attention I got. But I seriously doubt I could repeat that, so I'm looking for other ideas.

I thought I posted this yesterday, but I must have missed pressing the submit button, so I will try again:

Yesterday my wife and I picked up the treats I will be handing out at home this year - small packs of name brand chips and pretzels. Leftovers will be snacks for us, or if there are a lot left over, I will give them to our church youth who have an honor snack rack as a fundraiser.

Halloween will be on a work night for me. Daylight Savings Time stops the day before, so if I want to hand out snacks in costume, I won't have much time to change after getting home from work around 5 PM.

A non-femme costume idea would be a ghoul mask, plastic scythe, a black hooded robe with various junk computer parts and program disks attached - the computer grim reaper. The next day I will have to answer the tech help phone and reset passwords for people who come by with their IDs, so that would be an appropriate costume for work.

Next year I'm going to be retired, so I should be able to have all the prep time I want.

In 2003 I went as a Cigarette Girl. Last year I went as a female vampire. I still have both costumes. I might go as the Cigarette Girl again this year. I also have considered going as Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz.

I just thought of a faily quick to get into costume to answer the door and hand out treats (if I don't scare them off :) )

Slippers, a long nightgown, and robe in a combination that clashes so loud you can hear it a block away, curlers in one of my wigs with a hairnet over it, night cream slathered all over my face, and I'm dressed as an old lady ready for bed after the trick or treaters are gone.

Dolly,

Thanks for keeping this thread going.

I think I will be going as Batgirl this year. I found this costume at a local Halloween store, but they didn't have it in my size. I am going to buy it online.

I don't have any information on CD-friendly Halloween parties in Phoenix, LA, or Las Vegas. But you might consider contacting the Phoenix chapter of Tri-Ess:

I will be attending the Halloween party at TGEA (the Transgender Education Association) here in the Washington, D.C. Metro Area.

Halloween is such a hoot and I look forward to it every year. Down in our 'ghetto', we usually have an amazing turnout of folks in incredible costumes of every description, along with crowds of curious onlookers with cameras which is always so much fun. This year, I'm hoping to be 'cheering' my way down there as a cheerleader if I can find some pom poms. Rah rah rah!!! *-*

Stephanie W,

I was in a dollar store today and noticed pom poms there.

I bought myself a silver colored plastic tiara there. If I have time on Halloween, I can hand out treats as a princess in my floor length purple satin gown, with net petticoat underneath, wearing silver pumps, one of my blonde wigs, the tiara, and my purple feather mask.

Thanks for the tip Jadeanne. I'll check that out for sure.

Enjoy being a Princess in that pretty outfit but look out for those frogs. :)

In our area things have gone over to the yankee style. When I was a bairn there was no such thing as "Trick Or Treat". It was called "guizing" we mostly dressed up much as you do now and one of us would be wheeled around in a barrow made up to resemble Guy Fawkes.

Most years I was a Pirate or a Cowboy but once in 1961 I was dressed by my sisters in a pretty party dress. None of our neighbours knew who I was, at least thats what they said.

Since growing up I have not been to many halloween parties. Those that I have attended I have dressed mostly in drab costumes. Most memorable was one where I went as Mrs Frankenstein. All my finery plus a Frankenstein Mask.

Nowadays I dont get the chance. My wife doesn't do dessing up. She is quite staid really. A typical Aberdeen quine of her generation. Very reserved and a bit Victorian in her attitude. I love her to bits though!

Have fun y'all if I ever got the opportunity I would go as

:) At Halloween I would like to be made up in a dress and high heels and go shoping at Victoria Secret and be fit with a bra and lingerie to wear under my dress. Then I would like my wife to take me to Olive Garden where there is always a wait for eating and the service is very relaxed. It would be so sexy to be in a restaurent en-fem.

Kerri , Isn't that just the cutest. That is such a coincidence, I just recieved a very close dress but by a differnt brand, white apron on dress with a little toto applique. Very cute dress. I cound't afford the ruby slippers though.
Cindy W, I think that would very sexy indeed, are you ready. I would really like to shop at VS then eat at a restaurant. very cool, very sexy, very nervous. Kristen

Hi,

As we get closer to Halloween I thought I'd go ahead and make this a sticky until the end of the month.

Have a fun and safe Halloween season!

Going out with a girl friend.

Post by Jeannie »

My best friend died on March 8th and his wife Chris invited my to go to her brothers home in Mass. (My wife can't make it. YES!)Chris's sister sings with a band and they will be playing at the bar in the Berkshires. All her 6 brothers and sisters will be there. Chris knows about me and this will be sort of a coming out party. I have a ankle lenght gold slim gown with long side slits and 3/4 long sleeve fitted jacket. Gold sparkle pantyhose and light purple round toe 3 inch pumps. Killer red sparkle purse. I'll be dangerous.
On tip ladies. I went to my hair dresser 2 days ago. I've been going to her for 24 years. I told her about me and said cut it so it can be styled for a woman or man. What a mistake. Now I have to pay womens prices! OUCH! Hugs and kisses

Love
Jeannie
