Ughh! Couldn't get chat window up. Found the setting tho. Had to reload PC programs from a crash last week. Hate it when the PC is down,

I just "love" how these weatherpeople always overplay the upcoming weather. What a bunch of drama queens!!

So we're expected to get 6 inches... they're making it sound like a major blizzard is headed this way. Sheesh!

No we did not get the "snowstorm" they were oh-so playing up in the news... sheesh!

We did get about 3 inches which melted but then everything froze into ICE by 5pm!!

And tonight it is notoriously cold!!

So this will be the weather in the Northeast for the next 4 months - at least until the end of March... ugg. I should move to a warmer area.

#1 Reason why we live in Florida:

No matter how much precipitation we get, it does not require the use of snow shovels, ice scrapers, or salt pellets.

Yeah, I know: brag, brag, brag!

On the other hand, as DonnaT pointed out recently, we do get those 'named' tropical breezes!

Oh, well, no such thing as Paradise - - but we can try!

Florida is looking REAL good right now hon, tropical breezes & all, since we get those in NY here too (around late September, early October) ... we tend to share the whole country's worst weather here at one point or another. The only thing we manage to escape are earthquakes & tornadoes!!

But I'll shut up now... because tomorrow's headlines will read about a freak tornado that wiped out NYC... and we did get an earthquake about 20 years ago...

Eyes heavy,been on pc to long,but love this time to myself. And I can't wait for my next alone time to get "dressed". Love the felling of hose and dresses/skirts.

GRRRRRR.... this transit strike had better end real soon!!

I am NOT looking forward to another 2 1/2 hour commute in 20 degree weather, just to get to work!!
