Me thinks that Kathy, may still be in shock! Just keep it on the road, Kathy.
Well, yes, SL and I drove to CLT in about 3 1/2 hours, called K and J and when they got to the room we visited for a few minutes then went out to eat as Kathy mentioned. It was good food and GREAT company!!!
Then it was Saturday!! SL and I slept in - well until the fire alarm in the hotel went off about noon

. I was not dressed and had no intention of going anywhere.

Well having been in the same situation on three other occasions that I remember when I use to travel ---- a lot! ---- I was not the least bit concerned, but that is another story. Anyway we fended off three attempts to get us to leave the room

, hell it was 92+ degrees outside, I had nothing (drab mode) to wear! Everything was on in our room - Water, A/C - so we just went about getting ready to go out. The fire equipment (at least two trucks we saw) finally left about two hours later. Found out from a staff person at the hotel that someone had tried to hang some clothes from the wall mounted sprinkler in their room, it broke off and flooded their room and one of the meeting rooms on the first floor.
So what's a girl to do????????? When the going get tough, the tough go shopping

. I found the most beautiful Liz Claiborne cover coat, like a lab coat. It is gorgeous and is so versatile in how it can be worn. Goodwill - $4.00.
Evening, Saturday evening - Purgatory! I wore a black mini skirt, black tee with a black bolero jacket, black patterned hose, 3" heels, dark liner and eye shadow, red lip stick, red nail and the coup de gras a pair of tiger ears. I had some fangs but they made my mouth look weird, so I scraped them.

Jaye may have some pictures to post of us once she gets them from the photographer (Marlock or Warlock?). It was so loud in the place it was hard to tell, but only "company designated" people were allowed to have cameras.
What was it like, well for me I guess, about what I expected, a lot of exhibitionist, people dressed in S&M garb, several girls allowed themselves to be tied up, suspended from chains hung from the I-beam in the ceiling and swung around the place - NO, neither SL nor I nor Jaye wanted any part of it, but I think Kathy may have been considering it!
They had stations, booths where you could be a beatee or beator and they used things from feathers to leather cat-o-nine tails and some of the beatees really got red, no blood, but very red! Then they had a "hot wax" bed, but the one that kinda sent SL over the edge was the needles! A girl had eight of them inserted into her mid-back, four on either side of her spine, horizontally opposite each other, the blunt ends had "eyelets" in them, and she had four more vertical in her lower back - some blood but not a lot, then they took twine, I guess, and like "laced" them all together.
Yes, well it did hurt for a bit, but I am getting use to it as long as SL does not pull on the laces yet! JUST KIDDING - I can hardly stand the pain of putting on my false nails!!!! Needles laced together in your back!? Forget that!!!!
I don't know exactly what Jaye, Kathy or even SL thought about it. OH, the weirdest thing I guess I saw was, gheesh, how do I describe it?? It was a guy wearing a ???leather?? dog head??? The focus being on the snout part. He had a booth selling S&M and bondage stuff and he was wearing it with a studded collar, it was just too weird -- to me!
Of course, there were several "exhibitionists" who, well, use your imagination, but when you cram 300 pounds of female into a "see-thru" body stocking - yeah, its from Star Trek when they beam the two humpback whales on board and Scotty, says, "Captain, thar be whales here!" and no, I
refuse to go to the wood shed for that observation!!!!
Oh, there was the obligatory faux sex act on stage and some idiotic tee-shirts and a few actual space costumes - only one Darth Vader that I saw.
Over all, everyone was just as nice as they could be, however there were at least three that I saw, not that I was looking, but three guys, in street clothes, by themselves just kinda "cruising" the place - now, they were scary. One, had this (girl's intuition, if you will) a very unsettling look about him!!!! Shall I say like an "axe murder?"

Not part of the show just a "weird-o" that was there!
Anyway, now SL and I can honestly say, "been there done that" in case anyone ever asks. Would I recommend it, well, it you are not too put off by freaky things and understand that people come in all shapes, desires and expressions of self! I'd say go for it!!!
Love,
Virginia
