Pink Essence - Picnic

Post by Virginia »

In unison now!!! THANK YOU --- ELIZABETH!!!!!

I will dispense, for now, the results of the picnic other than to say it was GREAT!!!! I want to tell about my success with the uh? shall I say? "glued on forms?" They worked!! =D> =D> =D>

Now the disclaimer: They worked for me! What, if any, success you may have will depend on a lot of factors and I will mention some, but not all, as there are just too many. But you may want to try this!

The forms I wore were above-average in construction and detail. They do not have a name as I got them from a T-Girlfriend of mine who has since transitioned. They are triangular in shape with a concave back and I would guess at least a "C" cup!

I followed the directions on the spray can, "DURO" All-purpose Spray Adhesive, in a blue can purchased at Wal-Mart for $3.78. I sprayed the back of the forms as it says, with a light mist, after shaking the can! Well, light mist as the can says, I think I did a bit more but not much, waited about 10 -15 seconds and placed them against my skin. Now I would highly recommend you wash your chest thoroughly, dry the area completely, and I went so far as to use rubbing alcohol as well to remove any body oil or soap residue that could still be there. Let your skin thoroughly dry then attach your forms. (You will want to position them first before you use the glue and make sure you know exactly where you want to place them.) Having someone "eyeball" it would help. I used a pen to mark the top area, then after they were on a bit of soap easily removed the mark!

The GREAT news is they stayed and I did NOT wear a bra! =D> =D> =D> Now I did not get out and play volleyball, or golf or anything like that. I did do ordinary things like drive, lift coolers, food trays, help in the kitchen, but they stayed. Because of the way in which they are constructed, they did "peel" a bit around the top, evidently caused by the weight pulling down and the area around the top of my forms graduates to a very thin area, but it was not enough to notice or affect the way they looked!!! I wore a nice yellow, summer weight, full, ankle length skirt and a 3/4 length sleeve matching top with a fairly low cut neck, but not enough to show my "girls!"

Now the temperature they were exposed to (not counting my body temperature) was, I would guess, no more than 85 degrees.

Now, the really good news, when we got home last night, which I vaguely remember, I was one tired girl, I put on my night gown and was fast asleep. This morning, they were right where they were supposed to be! =D> =D> =D> =D> After breakfast, about 24 hours to the minute from when I put them on, one of them began to "peel away!" I gently removed it, as the directions say, gently peel them away, don't jerk, and the other ---- Here is the amazing part!!!!!! :) NO PAIN, NO REDNESS, NO MARKS, NO DISCOLORED SKIN, just a bit of glue residue which in the shower came right off with a gentle scrubbing from a wash cloth!

The downside - right now - with those results to be commented on later, are the forms themselves. I am currently soaking them in warm soapy water, the glue is gone but the backs seem --- seem a bit stiffer, not much, but a little. Will report later on this - I don't think it damaged them in the least, but we will see.

I will now try this stuff on my set of "PALS." Initially, I don't think I will have the same success as they (the Pals) are much heavier and are flat on the back, not concaved.

For what it's worth, I am getting much better with the glue on nails, too!!! I only knocked one off last night, when I reached up to close the tailgate of the truck, my ring finger nail got caught and came loose, but not off!!!!

Love you all!!!

Virginia

Hey Virginia,

I am so glad you have had similar results that I have had. Also, "goo gone" will take the glue right off your forms or skin in a hurry. Also if you use a heavier spraying of the forms(I coat them twice), they will stay on longer. Also, I use fairly large forms, size 8 which is like a large C or a small D and they stay on just fine, even with no bra. I wear mine 24/7 and never have I got a rash. Like I said, Ironically my medical patches irritate my skin after just three days and those are supposed to be medical adhesive.

The way this came about was about the time I found this product one of our members who is a chemical engineer had posted they looked at another brand of spray adhesive and didn't see anything in it that would be harmful to humans. He tried it and it worked great. Well when I went to Walmart to get it, it was $12.98 a can. Much cheaper than the $24 for 4oz. of medical adhesive, but still 3 times as much as the Duro right next to it. Looking at the ingredients they looked similar to me. I decided if the Scotch was safe, the Duro was probably safe also.

That was a year and a half ago and absolutely no ill affects. The great thing is that I can wear my breasts all the time. So it really changes one's posture. You learn to eat different, stand different, sleep different. Not to mention how natural they look under a night gown. For a T-girl like me, who can't afford $200 an hour for therapy right now to get on HRT to grow my own breasts, it's a pretty good interim solution. When I get up in the night, I still look and feel like a woman. That is really important when fighting gender dysphoria 24/7.

They even sag the right amount. When used with a push up bra they create cleavage in my own skin the same as a GG using a push up bra. I must caution though, this puts tremendous strain on the breastforms and eventually damages them. I recommend only using a "wonderbra" type bra occasionally and allowing the breastform to recover completely before using again and certainly not two days in a row. That is because the breastform is glued to your body and that causes the bra to push the breastform as well as your own breast which have become one. When breastforms are not glued on, they are free to move wherever the bra does and does not create a strain. I have damaged two breastforms in this way before I learned my lesson. There is a reason GG's don't wear push up bras all the time, it's because they put a lot of pressure on the breast to make it look so nice. Unfortunately this is not real comfortable and even though you can't feel the stain on your breastform, they are still being damaged. However, once in a while you have that top or dress that just needs the look that only a pushup bra can deliver.

*Disclaimer*
I am not a chemical engineer and I am not saying this product is safe. Only that I have used it with no ill side effects, that I know of. This product may still be dangerous to you and even perhaps kill you. I don't know. Use it at your own risk.

Love always,
Elizabeth
