My Thanksgiving

Post by Steffie »

Hi girls,

Well this particular "adventure" was an indoor one. I got to be Steffie (with my wife's blessing, of course) and cook the Thanksgiving meal. When I got done work Wednesday, I immediately changed to begin my "getaway" as Steffie. I stayed home and my wife and I watched Project Runway. I then put slipped into my femme-sleep ware and went to bed. However, we got up real early (like at 2:30 A.M.) and started to prepare the meal. I made the pies first (blueberry, pecan and pumpkin). While they were baking, we made the filling and prepped the turkey. We then put the turkey in the oven at 5:00 A.M. and let it cook slowly into early afternoon.

I actually wanted to be Steffie into early Monday morning but I must confess that by early afternoon the make-up and bra were getting to me and I went back to male mode for a while. :( I guess this is why I have never been Steffie for more than 2 days straight. At least I made it to 18 hours straight though. :) Plus my wife got to spend some quality time with Steffie. She always lets me go out but really does not know her that well.

Hope you all had a happy Thanksgiving. We have plenty of leftovers too. lol

Here's a few pics from 18 hours. My wife s camera shy so it is just me (and the turkey).

Steffie

Hi Steffie--
A little wardrobe switch there, from first picture to the next?
That was an ambitious plan--getting up at 2:30 is sometimes necessary, though.

My old friend Lynn (gg gal friend) and Girlself-me went to have dinner with a family that we both know. The host knew Male-me; I'm not sure how comfortable he was with 'Anita-me.' He married the hostess two years ago, and the hostess had met Anita very early on--she was OK with whoever shows up to dinner!

I'm not surprised you're not going until Monday. The makeup is a problem, and I also wonder about the health effects of having it on for hours at a time. (My sister insisted I buy the most organic makeup I could find. Unfortunately, the most effective makeup is not usually organic.) The bra is also a big deal, as are any of the shoes.

I'm glad your wife got to spend some time with Girl-you.

Hi Anita,

Thanks.

I wore the pink top with white slacks Wed night and then put on my sleep ware. That's what I cooked turkey with in wee hours of morning.

Honey, the only thing missing was an apron saying "Kiss The Cook!"

Glad you had a great "turkey day!"

Hi, Steffie -

I'm glad your wife was able to spend some girl time with Steffie . . . I think it's important that she knows "all" of you, and cooking can be a great bonding time!

Hi Steffie.
I am 14 months into my real life experience and had dressed as myself on weekends for a year or so when not at work, and I can guarantee you that it can be a real pain to wear a bra all the time unless it fits well. If it fits well, its little different to wearing a T-shirt or snug cami. So you might check your bra size or type if it gets really uncomfortable. For that matter, I know of few GGs that are not pleased to remove the bra they wore throughtout a day or night when they get home, some to go without, and some exchanging for a supportive sleep bra that has less restraint.

The same with make up. Its nice for looking your best when your out playing, but at home, what does it matter, unless of course you need it to become Steffie. I forget about that. In that case, see if just a bit of mascara and a moisturizing lippy might be enough if you intend to spend time as Steffie around the house. It just might take less to liberate Steffie than you think. Can't hurt to try, ya know?

Love, Carolynn
