Well I finally did it. It was first time I was able to dress as Steffie this year. Hard to believe, huh? lol I didn't go out though but stayed home with my wife (who was a tad under the weather). She even tried to put my hair in a ponytail to help keep the hair out of my eyes when I helped her cook (new look in two of the pics). I was able to do some bonding with her. It felt like 2 girlfriends. We both cooked dinner together; we made egg rolls. It was as fun as any time I ever went out. During the night one of my GG friends called and asked if I were going out. I said no that I hadn't dressed lately but tonight did and was with my wife and was staying home with her. It was a great night and my wife thinks I can wear that ponytail when I go out too. It's always nice to find an alternate look like so many GG's have.
I definitely feel like I missed out while growing up. I never had the chance to play with different hairstyles and develop comfort with the "tools of the trade." Hair ties were purely functional tools, and the likes of barrettes and headbands are still largely foreign for me. And the hair sticks thing? I'm trying to learn but it's not easy.
... but yes, the pony tail looks good on you. I'd definitely suggest adding it to the rotation of go-to looks.
